  This Izakaya restaurant is buried in a little corner of the mall of Aberdeen centre. We had an array of seafood sampler sized dishes: clam mussels, deep fried oysters, calamari, seafood udon, tuna salad, and a special duck pizza just to name a few. I would continue to go to the Guu establishments in downtown Vancouver, but the one in Richmond needs to step up their game.

  It was my second time to come here for lunch. It was a great experience. I reserved a table on Open Table. It was quite convenient that I booked it online last night and got a table right away this afternoon.
  
  My friends told me that their bento box was great that I must try it, so I ordered a grilled fish lunch box at $12.95. It was a good deal! The lunch box included a couple slices of salmon sashimi and a piece of raw scallop, a couple pieces of California Roll, grilled salmon, grilled mackerel, grilled black cod neck, some rice, some appetizers and a bowl of miso soup. The quality was above average. I believe this Guu is running by Japanese, because the chefs and servers spoke in Japanese. One of the servers was a Caucasian who spoke Japanese fluently. That was very impressive. He could speak to Japanese customers in Japanese! There were a couple servers only, but they handled the orders, customers and everything very well that their customer service was very impressive too.
  
  I would love to go back and try other dishes next time. I would highly recommend this Japanese restaurant to others although you might find some other Japanese restaurants in the neighbourhood. Others have lower quality and cheaper prices, but their standards are the same as Guu. I would rather pay a little bit more and get a better quality of good and better eating environment.

  Solid little place. Great atmosphere. A perfect spot to take a date. More expensive than I'd like normally ($3 Sashimi) , it has a fantastic drink menu.
  The servers are loud and fun, making this place much more fun than a regular restaurant.
  Beer prices were about $7 each. One thing I like was the flights of Sake available.
  I'll also mention that it's in the mall, so free parking is available !
  Well worth checking out.
  The biggest downside is that it closes at 10 pm on weekends and 9 pm on weekdays.

  Service was a bit slow for the food, but the presentation of the food items is really beautiful and tasty. I found that it was really worth my money when I got my dish, and the waitress was extremely nice and helpful.

  This is my new favorite sushi restaurant. Best customer service and best tastest dishes. Each dish I've had here has been the best compared to others. Great environment with very kind staff. Highly recommended.
