  TRANSBORDER LOUNGE - This is a small lounge that is on the inside of the terminal... Which means no windows to the outside and no natural lighting. There is hot food and good drink available, but the environment at the transborder Maple Leaf Lounge is definitely more open and welcoming.

  The review written by Gavin Fielding a year ago pretty much sums up my experience here. For someone used to the quality and hospitality of Asian lounges (ex: Eva Air in Taiwan, Bangkok, etc...) My experience at the Plaza Lounge was underwhelming at best.
  
  I'll start out with some pros - currently sitting at the Air France/KLM, which is nice they sectioned off a small area for this. But that's where the pros more or less ends.
  
  Now, my problem with the hospitality and customer service:
  
  -I politely asked one of the service staff whom was aimlessly walking around to please take away the dishes. She looked at me blankly like she had no idea what I was saying. Then she decided she wanted to talk to me in sign language, obviously I thought she was deaf and handed her the dishes. No problem. Except she then comes back and was talking and chortling with some other people making a bunch of noise. So she just decided that it was funny to pretend she had no idea what I was saying? Rude.
  
  -The staff walks around and doesn't take anything away.
  
  -Dirty washrooms are not fun.
  
  -I went to the bar, the barista there had attitude.
  
  Oh, I just had some chow mein, vermicelli noodles and sweet and sour pork with rice. That was good. Extra star for that.

  Your very basic lounge. Friendly staff. Not a huge choice. If option between this and the air Canada lounge will prefer the AC lounge. The scramble eggs and fruit salad in the morning are good.

  Totally not worth the money or time! Google says lounge was opening at 6am but doors didn't open till 8am. The manager/supervisor totally woke up on the wrong side of bed this morning or just got fired, rude service she was cursing in the middle of The Resturant area when the power went down for a mere 40 sec (not professional at all) Food was cold and coffee was warm. Music was very relaxing. The "better" sofa seats are reserved for other airlines (KLM and EVA). Ladies toilet was filthy. Been to many lounges all around the world and this is the first time that I've written a review to share my unpleasant experience.
