  Gave the place a try after seeing people recommend it. Ordered the Typhoon fried chicken with rice. The chicken was heavily fried and there wasn't much actual chicken in it. The meal was very heavy with just the chicken and rice. I would heavily recommend getting something else with it. I don't think the side dishes would've been enough. Anyways, it was still good, just very unbalanced itself. My friends got other stuff that they had no problems with.

  Food is delicious!
  I went in and got take out and it didn't take long at all.
  
  There was a bit of a mix up with the orders and I did not notice till I got home. BUT it still smelled and tasted so good. AND when I had called to tell them there was a mix up the server on the line apologized and took my name and number so that next time I came I could get them for free.
  
  Delicious food and wonderful experience.

  Great place. Great drinks. Really authentic. Chef and owner is from Taiwan. Their ingredients are also from Taiwan. I really trust their quality. Highly recommended. Hard to find a good quality restaurant/bubble tea cafe here in Richmond when other chains are so blend. Price is also very good.

  Update- I went to this restaurant again with a friend , and we actually ate our meals there. Portion has significantly improved, so maybe it's better to eat in?

  A friend told me about this newly opened TW BBT restaurant, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered Typhoon Chicken with fries and some beef stew with rice. I have to say the portion was relatively smaller than I had expected. Having visited many similar restaurants, this place by far gives the littlest portion in the same price range. The typhoon chicken was 2 pieces of chicken breast with very (and i mean very) little fries. I suspect they use the same fries as Costco because it literally tastes the same, except they added some spices to it. The beef stew with rice was okay, but bowl was half filled in the take out container, and there were only 5 pieces of beef......wow.... I went to bubble 88 and other places, they definitely gave me a lot more beef than that. Milk tea is not bad, but nothing special. I ordered 燒仙草 with red beans in it, and the red beans felt pretty hard (kinda half cooked), otherwise 燒仙草 tastes pretty good. I see potential in this restaurant, but a lot of things need to be improved, since it's quite competitive now with more and more bbt houses around. Overall, things taste nice, just the portion is a bit of a let down. On a side note, excellent service, the servers were smiley and very courteous, they tried to give me my take out asap.

  Food and service were great. Unfortunately, not every item on the menu was available (yet?). I tried to order a hot pot and was told all hot pots were not available. Kinda disappointed, specially it was not very warm in the shop.
  
  Hopefully they would improve the food availability and the HVAC system next time.
